I started offering mini family sessions a few years ago, I offer them twice a year right around the holidays. They are so much fun and I love to give my clients the opportunity to book a session with me at a reasonable price. I absolutely love love love doing mini sessions it is so fun to see my returning clients and new clients every year!
What is a Mini Family Session?
- Mini Sessions are short (45-60 mins) so they are limited to one location and one outfit
- You can expect 10 edited images from the session (including all of the originals…most photographers don’t offer originals this is my extra as a gift).
- You will receive your photos through PASS. You can download all your images instantly to your computer, you can share them anywhere, and so much more. CLICK HERE to see how PASS works.
- The session may include up to 8 people, $5 for each additional person.
- You have the option to upgrade and have all your edited images only on a DVD for and additional $55
What my shoots are like:
We will start with our more posed-like portraits since that might be our only window of opportunity for a standard family shot if there are little kids. After those we play it by ear. Kids run my photo shoots so there is a lot of flexibility and “moving around”. I always get small groups (the boys, the girls, etc) and individuals of each person. There will be some of just mom and dad alone also. We will probably just play the rest of the time so I can capture real smiles and giggles and the life and personality of your family. I might ask for mom and dad’s help with grabbing attention and smiles, or I might sneak away and catch a child playing on their own without any other distractions. Just remember, having fun is a must.
Do you do Full Family Sessions?
I think families are beautiful and I think they should be photographed as much as possible, when it comes to photography my passion comes from teenagers, couples, and weddings. So you are probably still wondering “so do you do full family sessions then?” Yes I do but it is at the full cost that is required.
